Durability
After discarding the third Teflon based pan in a row, when the coating started to peel off, we decided to finally try a stainless steel pan. It takes a bit of a learning curve to use it, but afterwards the results are the same good as with teflon. The only downside is that cleaning takes more effort. It is not like Teflon pans, when a gentle swipe removes everything, here, it needs scraping hard, and/or to be put in a dishwasher. So it cannot be used again in a few minutes during the same cooking session. But this is not an issue with this pan itself, but with stainless steel itself.
The particularity of this pan is that it has a thicker base, and it supposed to stay more flat, even at high heat. I cannot compare it to other pans, but it is good quality.
We use it with a Siemens induction cooker.

We use it on an induction cooker. It heats up quickly, and evenly. The size is good for one or two pieces of meat. Cleaning in the dish washer works well. We chose this pan as the base is thicker, and less prone to bending, being more flat when hot. The build quality is excellent. The pan is on the heavier side, but we don't mind it. If you haven't used a stainless steel pan before, better look up, as it works differently than a non-stick pan.
