According to our mirrorless camera expert
You can easily take the compact 383g camera with you when traveling.
The new LCD display has a higher resolution, so you can see more details.
With the fast autofocus and 425 focus points, you can sharply capture moving subjects.
The camera body doesn't have image stabilization to reduce motion blur.
You hold this small camera less securely, which makes it less comfortable to use when photographing for a long time.

I bought the X-T30ii as an extra camera next to my Fujifilm X-T5. It turns out to be a great combo. I was looking for something that was a bit smaller and lighter and also had a smaller sensor (you really don't always have to use a 40+ megapixel sensor; that costs extra memory and writing time!), but still with the quality I've come to expect from Fujifilm. am. In addition, I find an extra camera useful for the multiple fuji lenses that I have. This camera turned out to be a fantastic choice. The X-T30ii is very small and light. Really a size smaller than the X-T5. I do think you have to have small hands for a perfect fit. For me, this camera size and grip is perfect, but for someone with large hands it may be different. I use it with the 27mm pancake lens and with the somewhat older magic lens, the 35mm f1.4. Beautiful pictures come out. The camera is very user-friendly and can also be used professionally. The plus is that you can set everything yourself. Because you can see on the screen what your settings do with the expected image, this is also a great camera to learn how to shoot with. You literally see the impact of your choices in terms of ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Fujifilm delivers beautiful colors and a clear image and of course the preset 'film simulations' are also great fun to play with. If you don't like manual mode, you can also rely on automated settings. The JPGs that roll out of this camera are also of top quality. In that respect, I think this camera is also interesting for professionals. The only downside is the lack of some extra resistance to water and dust, but in all honesty I don't know how that differs from cameras that do. You have to be careful with cameras anyway, but I'm glad that I have an X-T5 next to it that I would dare to use in damp weather, rain or places such as the beach (I'm going to do that with this one anyway but rather not).
