According to our pan expert
A titanium coating is very strong, so the pan wears less quickly than a pan with a standard non-stick coating.
The Tefal Thermo-Signal turns solid red when the correct baking temperature has been reached.
You use little oil or butter during baking, thanks to the non-stick coating.
Aluminum retains heat less well.
Wash the pan before using it for the first time and grease it with oil. The red dot works perfectly. Little butter used to fry potatoes. Went super, very well fried, not greasy but nice and crispy. Very satisfied with my purchase. PS. Only used it once while writing my review

As with every Tefal pan we have had, this one also breaks within 2 years. The aluminium bottom is coming loose. Even though the product states that it is dishwasher safe, that is clearly not the case. The adhesive layer is likely coming loose due to the dishwasher. So, poor quality for that price. Just say it shouldn't go in the dishwasher then.
