According to our monitor expert
Thanks to the 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, you can game with very smooth images, which are suitable for eSports.
You connect your Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 via the HDMI 2.1 ports and enjoy 4K 120Hz console gaming.
The combination of the 55-inch screen and curved image provides a unique and engaging gaming experience, so it looks like you're in the middle of the action.
This monitor doesn't have DisplayPort ports, just HDMI.
A 55-inch monitor takes up a ton of space, so make sure you have a large and sturdy desk.
With the Samsung Odyssey Ark LS55BG970NUXEN 55-inch 165Hz gaming monitor, you get the ultimate gaming experience. On the extremely large playing field, you enjoy an unprecedented overview, no matter what kind of game. You can see the whole arena in Call of Duty, observe the entire field in FIFA, and see the Los Santos skyline from every viewing angle in GTA. The monitor is also curved, so it looks like you're in the middle of the action. Switch to first person mode and immerse yourself in the game. Thanks to the 4K resolution, HDR10 support, and 95% coverage within the DCI-P3 profile, you can enjoy razor-sharp, bright, and vibrant colors that come into their own for every game. More of a console gamer? No worries. Connect your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X via the HDMI 2.1 ports and game at 120Hz in 4K. So you can also have the best gaming experience with your next gen console. If you play with an AMD video card, AMD FreeSync Premium prevents screen tearing. This technology synchronizes the card with the monitor, even when you game in HDR. You also won't have to worry about your posture. You can easily adjust the height of the monitor, and tilt it so you won't be bothered by light reflections. Want to take it a step further? Rotate the screen 90 degrees and enable portrait mode. This way, it's almost like the screen falls over you, which provides a unique touch to arcade games, for example.
Note: for 4K gaming, you need a very powerful video card, like an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 3080 Ti, 3090, or AMD Radion RX 6000 series GPU, an Xbox Series X, or a PlayStation 5.

I first ordered this from Megekko. Because it used to be cheaper there. I quickly found out that they couldn't deliver it after 2 weeks. After a lot of hassle I finally got my money back. Then Media Markt. Purely because it was also slightly cheaper there. The website falsely stated that they had stock. That was a lie and I would have to wait 3 weeks. Also asked for money back there. After more than a month of hassle, Cool Blue also had the same discounted version. I ordered it here and everything was delivered the next day without any fuss. I've learned my lesson. I have been a Cool Blue customer for years and everything was delivered correctly and very quickly every time without any fuss. The people are friendly and competent and clearly trained. You can't say that about Megekko or Media Markt.
