According to our mobile phone expert
The device doesn't have a notch anymore, so you have more screen space.
With the 48-megapixel standard lens, among others, you can always take razor-sharp photos, even in the dark.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is more energy-efficient than the iPhone 13 Pro Max, so the battery lasts 1 hour longer.
This extra large iPhone, like the iPhone Xs Max / 11 Pro Max / 12 Pro Max, doesn't fit in every pocket and is more difficult to control with one hand, unlike the iPhone X / 11 Pro / 14 Pro, which are smaller.
A charger and earbuds aren't included, so you have to purchase those separately.
The large Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB Space Black doesn't have a notch anymore. All sensors are now incorporated into a pill-shaped notch called Dynamic Island. This shows you notifications from apps. You can always see your widgets on the useful Always On screen. Thanks to the 48-megapixel standard lens, you can now take even more detailed photos, even in the dark. In addition, you have a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens, which support night mode. This allows you to take even sharper photos in low light compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. On the bright 6.7-inch OLED screen, you can watch all your favorite series and movies in high quality. Thanks to ProMotion, images are smooth and easier on your eyes. Thanks to the powerful A16 Bionic chip and 6GB RAM, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is super fast. This chip is also energy-efficient. This means the device easily lasts a day and a half. You can store your photos and apps on the 128GB storage.
Note: Apple doesn't include a charger or earbuds, so use your current accessories or purchase them separately.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max is another nice step forward. The Dynamic Island looks a lot more modern than the Notch of the previous iPhones, although it may take some getting used to. In addition, you now also have a 2x zoom in the camera thanks to the upgrade from 12 to 48 megapixels. Of course, just like the iPhone 13 Pro (Max), this iPhone has the beautiful ProMotion display.
Despite the new Always-On display, the battery life of the iPhone is very good.
Unfortunately, the price has gone up considerably this year. As a result, it is now less quickly worth the upgrade from, for example, an iPhone 12 or 13.
But, definitely the best iPhone yet!

Beautiful smartphone but not without its flaws at the moment. Although the price is very high, especially compared to USA, but definitely worth the money. The competition isn't getting any cheaper either. For those 100 to 200 euros more you have a better rounded device that will be supported for longer.
Out-of-the-box, the speed and screen are immediately noticeable. You don't notice 120Hz immediately until you go back to a mobile phone with 60Hz. Also note here that 60Hz on iPhones seems smoother than others due to the better software integration. The color range is spot on, but depending on your palette, the Samsung s22 ultra may be a better choice.
The 48 Mp camera takes good photos that can be easily adjusted in its RAW format. However, this option is not enabled by default. This format also consumes a lot of storage, so if you want a lot of photos, it is best not to buy the 128 gig version. The advantage of the versions with 256gig and higher is that you can also film 4K ProRes instead of 1080p ProRes. The major drawback of these formats is that they take up a lot of space and transfer data is very slow. Lightning can be compared to USB 2.0.
The battery lasts a long time, especially if you are already upgrading from an old smartphone. Still, a 13 pro Max lasts longer than the 14 pro Max if you leave the standard options on. At the moment there are also a few bugs that increase battery usage. However, you can easily get through 1 day with very heavy use, 2 days for normal use and even 3 days with little use. So this is definitely better than a lot of the competition. Charging is also on the slow side compared to the competition.
