According to our monitor expert
You can edit photos and videos with lifelike colors, thanks to the 4K resolution, the DisplayHDR 400 support, and 95% coverage within the DCI-P3 color space.
Connect and charge an external device via the USB-C port with 90W power.
The PBP or PIP split screen modes allow you to work on 2 computers at the same time on the same screen, so you can multitask even more efficiently.
This monitor doesn't have integrated speakers to play music or hear the sound of your movies.
Combine productivity with working comfortably in a razor-sharp resolution on the Samsung ViewFinity S8 32-inch 4K USB-C monitor. The 4K resolution is 2 times sharper than QHD and 4 times harper than Full HD, so the screen clearly displays even the smallest details. When you work with photos and videos, you can zoom in on details with the same sharpness. This allows you to make the most accurate edits, without losing track of things. Do you mostly do office work? The 4K resolution also offers an extra advantage. Because you have more pixels, you have more screen space to open windows and programs. In addition, you can organize your whole desk easily via the USB-C port. This port transfers image signals, data, and charges your device with 90W power. This way, you always have a charged laptop battery when you leave home or the office. Do you want to watch a movie after work? In addition to the 4K resolution, the monitor also has DisplayHDR 400 support and a 98% coverage within the DCI-P3 color space. This means that all colors and images are displayed clearly and sharply. You can also tilt, swivel, and adjust the height of the monitor, so you can set up an ergonomic sitting posture. This allows you to prevent neck injuries and back injuries and you can go to work comfortably. Do you want to work even more effective? Connect 2 devices at the same time and work with the PBP or PIP split screen with 2 sources at the same time. For example, when you have your editing software on 1 laptop, and the photo library on your desktop.

Design
At first glance, a beautiful screen in terms of design, beautiful matte image without reflections and tiltable in any angle.
Unfortunately, the image quality is not what you would expect from a screen in this price category, with Samsung's experience. I use the screen for graphic design and video editing, but colors are either too faded or too bright / different.
The screen offers all kinds of options to tweak the brightness and colors, but none of these options deliver good image quality. The main problem is the low brightness of the screen. Even at 100%, with extra brightness set in the software of the video card, white still appears greyish. At first this seemed to be a defect, but a new screen (after the otherwise good service from Coolblue) was unfortunately no improvement.
Eventually went for a cheaper model with good reviews (HP U32 4K) and the difference is very clear.
