Great blender, haven't used it much yet, but very satisfied so far. I've used it for a few breakfast smoothies, and the smoothie mode works fantastically. The pulse mode is also easy to use, although it takes some getting used to. However, this is my first blender, so I might need some getting used to. It chops cashews and walnuts with ease; you won't easily find them in the smoothie mode, and yet you still get your healthy daily 30 grams of nuts in your breakfast. This blender also has a Tritan jug (not as heavy and fragile), and I believe it's otherwise the same model as the Perfectmix+ BL811D, which has a glass jug and a different type of blade (suitable for hot drinks/soup). For my preliminary research, I carefully looked at those reviews, because I believe the basics are otherwise the same. This blender isn't listed on the Tefal website, but the Perfectmix+ BL811D is. The cleaning function works well, although you'll still need to manually clean the cup and blade section occasionally, partly because the rim seals well but can also leave some residue (which hasn't happened yet). The base is nice and sturdy, and the suction cups adhere well to the countertop, although I'm not sure how much that's necessary, as the base is quite heavy (at least heavier than I expected). The machine fits nicely in the kitchen cupboard, but the cup itself is quite tall, so it won't fit everywhere. Leaving something in the fridge overnight was also a challenge, but transferring it to something smaller or easier is certainly an option.
