According to our pan expert
With the steam insert, you can also steam vegetables or dumplings in the pressure cooker.
You can cook up to 50% faster than with other Tefal cooking pots, thanks to the airtight lid.
The control valve determines the right amount of pressure, so that you can cook safely.
The pan is unsuitable for use in the oven.
Durability
I've been cooking dried pulses with the pressure cooker, saving time & energy vs. in ambient pressure. The results taste way better than the canned stuff. Operates between 50 kPa and 80kPa gauge pressure modes.
The plastic valve cover seemed only partially secured, like a loose tooth, but has not flown off after a dozen uses so it must be working as intended. It's surprisingly heavy; it doesn't bother me, but can be an issue for some. Overall I'm happy with it.
