We have had the Alecto Baby Monitor for a week now and we are very happy with it. The baby monitor has a beautiful design and a large and clear screen. What I really like is that the baby monitor is easy to operate via the screen. For example, you can set the camera remotely (right-left, top-bottom) and you can also zoom in. There is a talk-back function on the baby monitor, easy to say something to our daughter via the baby monitor when she has trouble falling asleep.

The temperature of the room is also displayed on the screen, especially with these warm months very nice. The range is fine, we sit in the garden with the baby monitor while our daughter is upstairs and can keep an eye on everything. What makes this baby monitor extra nice is that you can connect multiple cameras to 1 screen (up to 4 cameras). The only downside is that the battery runs out after about 3 to 4 hours. This is quite fast for the quality of this camera. We are also very happy with our purchase!

I wrote a review about this product before. Broken within a year at the time, older unit no longer charged. Very well handled by Coolblue by sending a new baby monitor. However, after 2 months the same problem.

In principle, the product is sufficient. Nice big screen, don't expect HD. However, quality is lousy considering the price and contemporary technology available. In a newly built house, the range is only one floor, if you step outside the door, the connection is immediately gone. After a year of use, the connector of the charger on the parent unit is already broken, so it can no longer be used. Sent to Coolblue for repair, now only a few days/weeks without baby monitor.

The quality of baby monitors with a camera in general is very poor in 2020.
