I am satisfied with my Philips stick vacuum cleaner with mopping function. The fact that the mop construction can be separated from the stick vacuum cleaner offers a lot of flexibility. Vacuuming without the mop is problem-free, and the head of the vacuum cleaner is particularly manoeuvrable. The added LED lighting on the head is a handy feature, making it easy for me to see where there is still dust, even in dark corners.
As for the dust collection, although it is a bit on the small side, emptying it is very easy. In addition, the vacuum cleaner is lightweight, making it pleasant to vacuum for a longer period of time. The vacuum cleaner has two suction settings: normal and turbo. In my experience, the normal mode is powerful enough for regular use, and the battery lasts well, unless I use the turbo mode frequently.
When it comes to vacuuming on different floor types, the vacuum cleaner performs excellently on both PVC floors and deep-pile carpet/carpeting. The coupling piece for the mopping function is easy to clean under the tap and can even be filled with cleaning agent. The supplied mop can be easily attached with Velcro.
The integration of the mop with the vacuum cleaner head generally works well. The dosing of water is just right, but there is a risk if the vacuum cleaner does not suck everything up properly, causing wet mop to go over dust and hair on the floor. However, the nozzle with the mop attached to it is quite large, making it difficult to get into small corners.
A disadvantage is the battery life, especially if the turbo mode is used regularly. Charging also takes a relatively long time, namely 5 hours. In addition, I miss a small nozzle to vacuum the couch, for example.
All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase of the Philips stick vacuum cleaner with mopping function, mainly because of the maneuverability and convenience of the mopping function, despite some minor drawbacks such as the battery life and the size of the nozzle with the mop.
