This is a really great fan. Very sturdy and sleek looking. Thanks to the DC motor, it truly is very quiet even at higher air settings. Perfect for sleeping at night. The display turns off when the fan is on meaning not too much light. However, it is strange that the display stays on when the fan is in standby mode. The instructions for how to access different air modes are not very clear and difficult to navigate with the remote. But I was able to find a nice quiet setting for sleeping and also a turbo mode to quickly cool the space. Overall, I am happy and certainly recommend this over the cheaper AC model.
