I set the subject recognition to animals in the menu. Here I also choose from many other options, such as vehicles, planes and people. I photograph my dog at 120 frames per second. This way I know for sure that the right moment is in between. At this speed I only shoot JPG files. If I want to shoot in RAW, I shoot a maximum of 20 frames per second.
Don't miss an action moment Another useful function to not miss a moment is the pre-release capture. With this, the camera saves the images that it took one second earlier. This is what the camera does as soon as I press the shutter button. This function is also useful if you are photographing a wedding, for example, and do not want to miss any important moments.
