Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our hair straightener expert
You can easily turn wet hair into a straight style because you dry and straighten your hair at the same time with warm air.
The smart temperature controller measures the temperature 16 times per second and helps prevent damage from high temperatures.
Because the airflow automatically pauses when you set the hair straightener down, it’s safe and energy-efficient.
This hair straightener isn’t suitable for curling your hair.

This hair straightener that not only looks beautiful, but also works perfectly. I really think it is an addition to the Dyson airwrap! You can style both wet and dry hair with it, and it even dries your hair! The hair straightener is easy to use, thanks to the clear display.
The hair straightener is lightweight and fits comfortably in the hand, which is pleasant during styling. The greatest weight of the device is at the plug, which is very cleverly done! Operating the power strip takes some getting used to, but there are clear instructions on how to unlock the device.
Heat and sound: The Airstrait makes a hairdryer sound, different from what you are used to from a hair straightener, but that makes sense because it works with air currents. The straightener uses much less heat than traditional straighteners, so your hair is less likely to be damaged.
Different modes: You can use the Airstrait in different positions:
The Airstrait has various functions for styling both wet and dry hair.
Result From soaking wet hair to super smooth, soft and straight hair! I was able to test this on thin, thick and very thick hair.

In the beginning I had to get used to the Dyson Airstrait, but after using it a few times I don't want to be without it anymore. This innovative hairdryer and straightener in one leaves my hair incredibly soft, softer than any other hairdryer and straightener I've tried before. My first impression of the Airstrait was positive: it's light in the hand and the sound is no louder than my old hairdryer, which was a pleasant surprise.
The Airstrait doesn't straighten my hair completely, so sometimes I use a straightener to get it completely smooth. However, this is not a big problem, because my hair looks good with the Airstrait even without a straightener. With my natural stroke the Airstrait works perfectly. The biggest advantage is that I don't have to blow dry my hair first, which often results in frizzy hair, and then style it for another half hour. This time-saver and the softness of my hair make the Dyson Airstrait absolutely worth it.
I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient and effective way to dry and style their hair!
