The AI Energy Mode also helps with that. The refrigerator recognizes my usage pattern and adjusts the energy consumption accordingly. For example, the AI Energy Mode knows exactly when the refrigerator is opened the most and adjusts the consumption accordingly.

Organize cooling systems yourself With Smart Conversion, I organize the refrigerator the way I want. This allows me to change the freezer compartment into a cooling compartment when I'm having a party. Handy, because then I have more space for my snacks and drinks. I can also turn off the cooling compartment when I go on vacation. This way, my leftovers stay frozen, but I don't cool an empty cooling compartment. That saves me energy. The cold air stays in my refrigerator thanks to the Metal Cool Plate at the back. This way, the spacious cooling compartment doesn't heat up when I'm in doubt whether to go for a piece of cheese or a bowl of cherry tomatoes. I do find it difficult to set this via the refrigerator itself. It's a lot easier via the app.

Handy dispenser I have never had a fridge with a dispenser before. That is why I wondered if I would really use it much. The answer is yes. Especially when it is very warm outside, a cooling drink is nice. For example, I throw ice cubes in my iced tea or give my daughter a nice glass of cold lemonade after playing outside.

Very energy-efficient and quiet On the energy label I see that this fridge has energy class B. That saves me quite a bit of energy costs and that is nice for a device that is always on. In addition, the AI Energy Mode adjusts the energy consumption to me. For example, the fridge knows that I always open the fridge at half past seven in the morning for my breakfast, so it temporarily cools a little less and this cold is not lost. As soon as the fridge is not opened for a while, it slowly cools again. I also see that the refrigerator has a maximum noise level of 32 decibels. I quickly notice that it is really very quiet. The refrigerator is in my open kitchen and I don't hear it humming when I'm sitting on the couch. Great, because it doesn't bother me when I'm working from home.

Fresh-smelling refrigerator I regularly have fresh cheese in my refrigerator, while there are containers of curry or fish in the freezer. Thanks to Twin Cooling Plus, the refrigerator has 2 separate air flows. This means that the smells don't mix and my fresh strawberries don't taste like salmon. What's also nice: the cold air from the freezer doesn't enter the cooling compartment, so my nettle cheese doesn't dry out. The Metal Cool Plate at the back of the refrigerator retains the cold air when I open the door. Great, because it means I can quickly grab a can of cola without the temperature in the refrigerator fluctuating.

Easy to use The refrigerator has even more handy functions that make it easier to use. For example, I can convert my freezer compartment into a cooling compartment thanks to Smart Conversion. This way I create extra space for bottles of beer and wine during a party. I first try to set this via the display in the refrigerator, but I don't like how it works. In the app I can change it in no time. The freezer compartment has No Frost, so I don't waste time defrosting. Handy, because I always find that a tedious job. In the summer I can easily grab a cool drink thanks to the water and ice dispenser.

This is a topper, with really no downsides (if it fits in your kitchen). The mentioned drawback only happened once and could be remedied by shaking the cube reservoir. So that's not too bad, because a lot of ice has already been used. As big as an old Whirlpool model, there is clearly much more room in this fridge/freezer. This almost surprised us. The installation service from Coolblue was also very good and carried out by friendly people.
