What a great fridge! If you're talking about making optimal use of interior space, then this is an A+++. After we had loaded everything from our previous fridge, we certainly had twice as much space left. This is really a model of space, despite the fact that the external dimensions are generally the same as other fridges. What is a 'downside' is that the shelves only have a limited adjustment option. So sometimes you still have some space left in height, but fortunately there are solutions for that.

The "auto open door" takes some getting used to. But once you're used to it, this new way of hinging is an absolute must. Because even when closing, the door, once past the hinge point, also closes automatically.

The metal plate cooling ensures that your entire fridge feels cool. Even when opening and closing several times on these hot days, you can feel that the contents remain cold.

This is also a top freezer in terms of cooling and interior space. If I could make one comment to the designers: the ice cube reservoir could be a bit bigger.

This very spacious refrigerator is highly recommended for families who need plenty of space in a refrigerator or freezer. Its clever interior design makes optimal use of every available space, both in the refrigerator compartment and the triple freezer. The quiet motor and twin cooling system ensure everything is chilled quickly and efficiently, keeping your food fresher for considerably longer. There are a few minor drawbacks, such as the ice cube capacity, which could be a bit more, and the drip tray under the water dispenser isn't removable. The manual is rather limited and doesn't mention the smart app that you can use with this refrigerator. Otherwise, it's a great refrigerator.

This American fridge/freezer is replacing my classic fridge/freezer. I was looking for a fridge/freezer that could also make ice cubes but also had a larger capacity. During installation, I discovered that the manual covers several models and wasn't entirely clear on what to do. This mainly concerns the connection/water supply. It could be a bit more step-by-step, but I eventually managed to connect the water supply. The pipe is actually only a thin one (where you'd expect a garden hose), so it's easily concealed. It's a shame, however, that a separate (included) water filter needs to be connected. You'd expect it to be neatly integrated. You also need to replace it periodically, so I'll have to think carefully about where to place it.

What's new to me with a fridge/freezer is being able to adjust the settings (Wi-Fi, smartphone app, etc.) via the large and user-friendly LCD touchscreen. It's intuitive and responsive. It also provides a wealth of information, such as power consumption, recipes, and more. Even YouTube and Spotify are built-in. So, it's easy to follow cooking instructions, for example. The Bixby voice control (in English) doesn't offer much added value for me. For example, opening the appliance via touch button is much faster and easier, even with your hands full. It also has a very comprehensive memo function and a digital shopping list. I haven't yet managed to send that list to my phone (or sync it via email, etc.) when I'm grocery shopping.

What's also immediately noticeable is its sheer size; it really packs a punch. The cooling and freezer start up quickly and do their job effectively. The quick freeze/cooling mode also works well, quickly dispensing the first ice cubes and cold water. The latter is a bit of a drawback, though, as the cold water dispenser has a very strong jet, which can easily cause spills as the water splashes out of your glass. When using a regular glass, you don't know exactly where to hold it (I now know you really need to hold it at the very top). It also doesn't help that the outlet isn't straight forward, but slightly to the left, and it's not adjustable. You expect it to just come out straight ahead. Furthermore, there's no drip tray or anything like that underneath, so spilled water runs straight down the door onto the floor. That could be better. After a few weeks of use, I find the automatic door opener very convenient. For example, when you're cooking or baking with dirty hands, it's very easy to open the door. Loading and unloading the ice bucket is a bit more difficult and requires a lot of fiddling, but hey, you don't do that very often. I also need to get used to the freezer, which mainly has shelves and two smaller bins. There's plenty of space, but previously I'd put everything in the bins; now you have to arrange everything neatly and stack it on a shelf; stacking it on a shelf isn't easy.

So, this Samsung is perfect for what it's supposed to do; the Twin Cooling+™ concept works well and keeps the food nice and fresh for a long time. It produces excellent ice cubes and cold water, is easy to use, smart and looks nice.
