With the Ninja Slushi FS301EU I can quickly make different types of frozen drinks, from slushies to smoothies. It is easy to use, but it does take up a lot of space on the counter.
Make cold drinks quickly
When it is warm outside, I like to drink cold drinks such as milkshakes, slushies or cocktails. With the Ninja Slushi FS301EU I can make cold drinks within an hour, thanks to the RapidChill technology. I pour the ingredients into the container and the machine starts with one push of a button. Due to the large size of the bowl I can also make drinks for guests, for example during a birthday or drinks party. The appliance is sturdy and feels solid. However, it does take up a lot of space on the counter. In my kitchen there are cabinets above the counter. Because the filling valve is on top of the machine, I find it difficult to add liquids. In a smaller kitchen this requires some extra attention.
Many programs to choose from
The ice cream maker makes more than just slushies. I have also made milkshakes and frappes. I also have the following options: frozen cocktails or frozen juice. I use a separate program for each drink. I turn on the machine, add the ingredients and choose one of the five options. With the LED lights I can see exactly how far the process is. With the buttons on the front I can easily adjust the thickness of the drink. I don't like a thick milkshake myself, so I just set it to my liking.
Stays cold for a long time
After preparation, the drinks stay cold for a long time. Thanks to the WhisperChill compressor, my iced drink stays frozen for up to 12 hours. That is useful if I want to drink it later in the day or if I make several drinks in advance for a party. I left it on for 4 hours myself. That way I had ice-cold milkshake within reach all afternoon. The thickness of the iced drink remained the same and the machine continued to run effortlessly.
Easy to clean
After use, I fill the container with water and start the cleaning program. The machine then automatically rinses the container, cooler and mixer clean. Then I let the water drain out and take the loose parts apart. I just put them in the dishwasher. When everything is clean again, I easily click the parts back onto the machine.
