I was able to test the Dyson Airwrap i.d. Straight for a few weeks. I have very straight hair and I don't style it. That gets boring, so I was very curious whether the Dyson could possibly change that. I already gratefully use the Dyson Airstrait, so that I don't have frizzy hair. So I already knew what quality I could expect from the Dyson. Dyson never disappoints!
The design is fine and enough attachments/accessories are included. This all comes in a nice storage box, which is large, but does not bother you because of the nice design.
If you download the app and connect your Dyson Airwrap i.d. Straight, you will receive all kinds of user tips with helpful videos. These are all tailored to the type of hair (straight, curly, short, long, etc.) and the model you want to create. This is very handy, because you don't have to look anything up, but have everything bundled in the app. There is even a function to control the Dyson via the app! With the so-called 'i.d. curl' you can set the duration for each part yourself. So first the time you need to wrap a section of hair around the device, then the heating (styling) and finally the cooling, so that the model stays in place better. This is really luxurious and so easy!
It does take some getting used to and a lot of practice to make curls. Because I have thick hair, I can only curl small sections at a time. It is quite difficult to get the section of hair to wrap around the curling piece by itself, especially the ends. But the more often you do this, the better you get at it.
In terms of design and user-friendliness, I am completely convinced. I can absolutely recommend the product and I am sure that there is no other brand that is as convincing as this Dyson.
