The set consists of a 24-centimeter frying pan and a larger 28-centimeter pan. This gives me a convenient size for both smaller portions and elaborate meals. However, lids are not included, making the pans less suitable for slow cooking and steaming.
Ease of use
The pans are sturdy and heat up quickly. Thanks to the red Thermo-Signal dot in the center, I can see exactly when the pan is hot enough. This ensures I always add ingredients to the pan at the right moment. The 28-centimeter pan is handy when I cook for multiple people. There is enough room to place several pieces of meat or fish side by side. I use the 24-centimeter pan for smaller portions, for example when cooking for 2 people. Due to the high rims, the pans are also suitable for dishes with sauce. However, lids are not included, making it more difficult for me to slow cook dishes.
Hassle-free cooking
The ceramic non-stick coating works well during cooking. Meat and fish release easily, making it easy for me to flip them over. Cooking remains easy, even with little oil. The high rims prevent food from spilling out of the pan while stirring. I have tossed ingredients in the pan with a fork several times, and so far, no damage is visible. The handles are long and therefore comfortable to hold, even when the pan is somewhat heavily filled. I do notice that the handle gets a bit warm when the pan has been on the stove for a longer period.
From stovetop to oven
A major advantage is that the pans are suitable for various heat sources, including the oven up to 250 degrees Celsius. This makes the pans multifunctional, so I don't necessarily need a separate roasting pan. I first sear a piece of meat in the frying pan and then let it finish cooking in the oven.
Easy to clean
After cooking, I clean the pans easily. Food residues usually come off quickly due to the ceramic non-stick coating, meaning a soft sponge and some washing-up liquid are sufficient. I clean the pans by hand to keep the non-stick coating looking good for as long as possible.
