Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro

Forced by my health to find a solution for vacuuming and mopping. Tests by the Consumers' Association show that the Rooborock is among the best. It's expensive, but a cleaning lady is impossible to find. I am very happy with it. I let it clean and mop our cast floor three times a week on the maximum water setting. The house looks clean and fresh. What is disappointing is: spilled soup and other stains on the kitchen floor. Even though they are fresh, it doesn't really get them off, so I have to go over them myself with a mop every now and then. It is also difficult to create a small off-limits zone. Our table has a very large slab as a leg. I can only ban a fairly large part, but then it doesn't vacuum the entire area around the dining area. A pity. The corners are covered well, but areas where it barely fits are often skipped. So maybe once a month I run the Swifter over it. It cleans our rug, which has a large black patch in it, beautifully.

With a cleaning lady and a stick vacuum, we often still found it overkill, but we gave in anyway because of the furry pets. The difference is really noticeable and saves a ton of crumbs and hair!

Overall I'm fairly happy with it, in many points an improvement over my older S7 Max. Unfortunately, the mopping which was one of the reasons going for this model is not what I hoped for. The two rotating mops do have some advantages over the older models with one mop. However, the big disadvantage is that it leaves small stripes exactly in the middle of both rotating mops. This would be fine if the middle part would be covered in the next lane by the center piece of one mop. Unfortunately, it seems that the robot has exactly a stride such that the right side in one lane will be exactly the left mop in the next lane, like this the part between both mops will never be properly cleaned and leave stripes. This could be simply fixed by allowing advanced configurations such as stride in the app, but unfortunately the user has no control over this :(
