Which data plan do you need?
Maritime: internet at sea
Are you a lot on the water and also want internet there? With Starlink Maritime, you can even stay online on the open sea. This data plan work in places where a mobile data plan doesn't have coverage. You use the Flat High Performance Kit for this. It's specially made for use at sea and for higher speeds. That's why it's the most expensive Starlink data plan. You pay € 289 monthly for 50GB.
Starlink Roam: internet while you travel
Are you often on the go and also want internet? Choose Starlink Roam. This data plan also works when you're on the go. You receive access to the SpaceX satellites from every location. On a boat or camper, you mostly use the Starlink Standard Kit. Going by foot or by bike? Choose the Starlink Mini. For internet while you're moving, you should choose the Flat High Performance. You pay € 40 for 50GB.
Starlink Home: for a fixed place without cable
Don't have cable internet at your location? The Starlink Home is a good solution. You aim the dish to the satellite and you have a fast and stable connection. You install it easily with help from the Starlink app. With this data plan, you use the Starlink Standard Kit or Starlink Mini. Important: this data plan is only suitable for use in 1 place. You have to pay at least € 35 per month.

Frequently asked questions
Does Starlink work everywhere?
Almost everywhere, but it depends on where you are and the data plan. In Germany, you have good coverage in most locations as long as you have a clear view to the sky. Trees or buildings might disturb the signal. Going on a trip or at sea? Choose Starlink Roam or Maritime. Those also work outside Germany, but not in every country. On the maps in the Starlink app, you can see exactly where it works.
What do I need to use Starlink?
You need a Starlink data plan and a matching Kit like the Standard Kit or Flat High Performance Kit. This kit mainly has a dish, router, stand, and cables. The Starlink app helps you with the installation.
Can I also use Starlink when I'm on the go?
You can with the Starlink Roam data plan. That way, you have internet in multiple locations. Want internet while you're driving or sailing? You need the Flat High Performance Kit. This also works while moving.
Do I need a separate router for Starlink?
No, a WiFi router is included with most kits. You don't need an extra router to use WiFi. The Starlink Mini has a built-in router. Want wired internet or expand your own network? Use an optional Ethernet adapter.
How fast is Starlink internet?
The speed differs per location and kit. You can mostly count on a download speed between 100 and 250Mbps. That's more than enough for streaming, video calling, and working remotely.
