How do you choose the right size for your tablet?
Tablets are available in different shapes and sizes. Sometimes, it can be difficult to choose from a wide selection. The best tablet size for you depends on what you want to use it for. A small tablet is easy to take with you in your bag, while a large tablet offers more screen space. In this article, you'll read more on the different sizes.
Choose a tablet size
Tablets are available in different sizes. Which tablet size is best for you depends on the usage situation. We have different tablet sizes:
- 8-inch tablets: slightly bigger than your smartphone
- 10 or 11-inch tablets: watch series anywhere
- 12-inch tablets: for multitasking, work, or studies
Tablets of 8 inches: slightly larger than your smartphone
Small tablets are suitable if you often use your tablet while on the go. If you like to watch movies while on the train, for example. These tablets are slightly larger than your smartphone. You can easily hold them with one hand, because they're light and compact. Popular small tablets are the iPad Mini 6 and the Samsung Tab A9. These have a screen size of about 8 inches.
Tablets of 10 or 11 inches: watch series anywhere
Medium-sized tablets have a screen size between 10 and 11 inches. These tablets are still compact, but you'll have slightly more screen space. You can easily use it for at home and while on the go. If you like to watch series or browse the internet, these tablets are great. The iPad Air and the Lenovo Tab M11 are medium-sized tablets.
Tablets from 12 inches: multitasking, work, or school
There are also tablets with a large screen starting from 12 inches. This means that they take up more space in your bag when you take them with you. Thanks to the large screen of these tablets, you'll have a lot of screen space for multitasking, for example. If you use your tablet for work or school as well, a large device is very useful.
