A QHD gaming monitor has 2 times more pixels than Full HD. As a result, your image is sharper and you see more details during gaming. Quad HD also comes into its own on larger monitors. The image doesn't appear grainy and is even razor-sharp up close. Gaming on a QHD monitor does require a powerful video card. Which video card you need depends on the games you play. For example, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (Super) is very suitable for World of Warcraft in QHD, but struggles to reach 60 fps in the latest Assassin's Creed. For demanding games, you need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (Super) or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT chipset. Your processor must also be in order. Make sure you have at least a Core i5 or Ryzen 5 cpu.
