I have doubted about various monitors. I wanted to connect both an M1 Mac Mini and a gaming PC to it. For the latter, I really wanted a high refresh rate screen. In the end I opted for this Philips. I have to say I am very impressed. The foot + stand (anthracite to almost black) is super robust: it looks like cast iron. That is quite different from the plastic base of my somewhat older LG monitor. Furthermore, the monitor can be rotated and tilted in all possible directions. It is a pity that there is no clear center, so that can be a bit of a mess. I also find the OSD not really useful, the control button is a bit far away and it feels a bit fragile.
The image is great. No obvious shortcomings seen so far. The HDR demo that I saw was nowhere near what I am used to from my LG OLED TV, but I certainly did not expect that. Important tip for an M1 Mac: use a UCB-C => Displayport cable (high refresh, e.g. 8K) to get all possible resolutions and refresh rates.
I think the only thing that is really bad about the monitor is the sound from the speakers. Well, that's not much different with my LG. For a bit of decent sound you really just need a pair of headphones or a separate speaker (set). But hey, better a functional speaker than nothing at all.
All in all I am very happy with my purchase: for the money it is a very good and sleek monitor.

Really a great screen for the price! For my 3D animation studies I was looking for a decent monitor, which had both top colors, but was also useful for gaming in the evenings! After comparing many monitors, this one clearly came out on top! The monitor is mounted on a super robust metal stand. Although I do think that a little more attention could have been paid to the design of this. The stand sticks out a little too much, which means that it ends up quite far in front of your desk. This is of course quite easy to solve by buying a different monitor arm. Not such a big problem! For the rest, the brightness and colors are top for this price range! I still had to tweak a few things to make the colors match my laptop, but that was quite easy using the monitor's control menu. Thanks to the 144hz I can also game nicely at 4k quality, which in my opinion is really the minimum for high-quality gaming. So far nothing to complain about this monitor. Just a really great thing for its price! Well, if I have to name one serious negative thing it is the DisplayHDR 400. You should leave this turned off. If you really want to go for good HDR, you are not in the right place with this monitor, but keep in mind that for good HDR you go up quite a bit in price!

I use the screen for MS Office work (especially Excel), for photo and video editing and browsing. This screen is a perfect solution for this combination: fast with a high resolution, good color depth and very sharp. Also possible to connect 2x Display Port with the maximum resolution, and then 2x HDMI free to use. And last but not least ... nice and big (32"). Slightly more expensive but worth the price (... for me)
