Dear fellow PC gamers, this is the monitor you want if you are looking for a 32" Ultrawide OLED. I think I am the first to review this monitor on Coolblue. But it has not been on the market for that long. It is the little brother of the 34M2C8900, but with a few minor changes such as no KVM switch, no speakers and is not white, but matte dark gray (plus point!)
I have considered several QD OLED gaming monitors. And read and watched a lot of reviews and ultimately chose this one. I already had a pretty good 32 inch VA gaming monitor, but still wanted to go to OLED because of the better black levels and no backlight bleeding. And oh boy, am I happy with this step! With HDR, the colors of your screen splash. And black, is really black, as if the screen is turned off. Which, for example, creates a great image with explosions, lights or campfires in your game. I use the monitor purely and only for gaming, which is clearly what it was designed for. I play no games at very high FPS, so I can't judge that. I usually play around 80-120FPS in VRR (no flicker noticeable. Use an RX6950XT) You might think Philips? for a Gaming monitor? Yes, absolutely. Philips calibrates the OLED panels quite accurately and comes out very well in many tests. You also get a nice certificate of the calibration from the factory.
Is it all praise? That depends. When using office apps or browsers, the text is not as sharp as with an LCD panel, but for me it is still far from annoying.
It is OLED and you have to be a bit aware of this; use screensavers, don't let logos be brightly visible for too long, hide your taskbar and follow the instructions of the monitor regarding the pixel refresh. It lets you know this every 4 hours. you can then choose to do it right away (takes about 5/6 minutes) or do it manually at a later time.
The screen finish is somewhere between glossy and matte, a kind of silk gloss. In really bright ambient light this can reflect some purple according to youtubers, but in normal living room/mancave lit spaces it is just pitch black.
In short, have fun gaming, you won't regret it!

I wanted a screen that I could both game on and work on. This screen, together with the OLED version, emerged as the ideal middle ground: ultrawide, high refresh rate, curved, and a low response time. I am not interested in typical "gamer" styling, so this screen also fits nicely in my home workplace in terms of appearance.
Although OLED offers unparalleled image quality, I still opted for this version for the price and ease of use. (This type of screen does not require special maintenance, unlike OLED.)
I certainly do not regret this; the image quality of this screen leaves nothing to be desired. Combined with the refresh rate of no less than 180Hz (note that your PC/laptop can deliver this!) this offers a fantastic experience.

Great monitor for a great price. The stand takes some getting used to; it looks like it's been spilt with paint, but you have to love it.
