Philips EVNIA 27M2N5201P/00

I am very pleased with this Philips monitor. Fast screen, little ghosting, great for competitive games. Image quality is surprisingly good for Full HD. The brightness could be a bit higher in a bright room, but otherwise no complaints. Recommended if you are looking for an affordable gaming monitor.

I have mainly used this monitor for work lately, and I am actually very pleased with it. Because I work a lot with data visualizations, I spend quite a few hours in front of a screen every day. In that case, I find it particularly important that the image is sharp and pleasant, and that you can work with it comfortably for extended periods. As far as I am concerned, this monitor does that well. I notice that the screen works well, especially with charts, dashboards, and large spreadsheets. The image is calm and clear, and even when I use multiple windows side by side, it remains organized. I previously had a Philips monitor that I was very satisfied with. The monitor feels solid and is primarily practical for daily use.

I don't actually game myself, so I cannot give a proper assessment of gaming performance. My experience is mainly based on intensive business use and working with a lot of visual information. For me, ultimately, it is a monitor that does what it is supposed to do: a pleasant image, sufficient space to work well, and without you constantly having to adjust the screen during a long workday.

I've been using it for a while now and am very satisfied so far. The image quality is very good: a sharp picture, beautiful colors, and good brightness. HDR is also a nice addition and provides just a bit more contrast and atmosphere for suitable games.

During gaming, everything runs very smoothly and the screen responds quickly. Especially with fast-paced games, you notice that the high refresh rate is really pleasant. As a result, the gaming experience is simply very good.

Personally, I find the Ambilight a bit less impressive. I get the impression that it doesn't always respond well to all colors on the screen. Some colors are reproduced well, but with others, the effect is a bit off. It is a nice extra in the dark, though.

Furthermore, the monitor looks sleek, is easy to set up, and everything basically works as it should. All in all, a good monitor that I am very satisfied with.
