A slide-out range hood is an extendable range hood that you install in a kitchen cupboard. You can slide the flat screen out when you start cooking. Some slide-out range hoods automatically start, others have to be switched on. When you've finished cooking, slide the range hood back under your kitchen cupboard. As a result, you can only see the range hood when you're cooking. This way, this type blends in nicely with the rest of your kitchen design.
