A fanatic gamer doesn't want a 60Hz monitor, but a 240Hz monitor. With a 240Hz gaming monitor, the screen refreshes 240 times per second. This makes characters and vehicles move so smoothly that it appears real. Monitors with such a high refresh rate are still fairly new, but there are a number of brands on the market such as HP, Asus, AOC, Samsung, LG, MSI, and BenQ 240Hz monitors. If you only want to game at 240Hz, we recommend a 240Hz 1080p monitor. If you also want to game at a higher resolution, with a lower number of Hertz, we recommend a 240Hz QHD or 4K monitor. Combine this high refresh rate with a response time of 1ms and G-Sync or FreeSync to prevent ghosting and lags. Keep in mind that you need a good video card to play at 240Hz.
