HDMI 2.1 monitors

Enjoy 4K gameplay at a 120Hz refresh rate with an HDMI 2.1 monitor. This HDMI standard also supports next gen console gaming. That means you can also connect a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S to a monitor with HDMI 2.1. Besides the fact that an HDMI 2.1 monitor supports 4K, it also supports 8K at 60 frames per second. Although this does depend on the video card you're using, such as the NVIDIA RTX 3090.
