According to our sous vide expert
This is a sous vide and slowcooker in one.
You can set the temperature accurately for the right preparation.
Stainless steel racks are included to put the vacuum bags in.
You need a vacuum machine to package the products.
You can prepare various dishes without spending hours in the kitchen with the Espressions Duo Sous Vide & Slowcooker. From vacuumed food that you cook in a steam bath to stews that slowly cook on a constant temperature. The sous vide has a large capacity of 5.5L, so you can also prepare a meal for company. Sous vide is a cooking method that uses vacuumed food prepared in a steam bath. And you can use the slowcooker to prepare complete dishes at a low temperature. Simply add ingredients, set the right temperature, and let the slowcooker do its job. If you then come home after a long day, a delicious dish will be waiting for you.
I've wanted to start cooking sous vide for some time now. After a lot of research and many especially expensive machines, I finally came across this device. The price is surprisingly low for a sous vide, but great if you're just starting out and don't know if you'll be using it often.
I checked the machine temperature (regularly) with a second thermometer, every time it was spot on. It heats fairly quickly (of course you shouldn't put the water in it ice cold) and is quite easy to use. Actually a sous vide that can compete with the more expensive machines. In short, I would personally recommend it to anyone starting sous vide for the first time.
Incidentally, it is recommended to purchase a good vacuum sealer and seal machine if you don't have one yet, I can recommend the Foodsaver FSV2860 Top Line, it can handle liquid and can be adjusted in speed.

Been looking for a sousvide device for a long time and finally chose this one by one of the reviews. And indeed, to start with, this is a fantastic device. Have prepared chicken, salmon, pork tenderloin, cod, lamb, in one week and the difference is huge. And then I have not yet experimented with marinades and long cooking of tougher meat. The removable container is convenient for filling and emptying with water. The detachable cord is convenient for storing the device. I find the lid quite fragile. I'm afraid that if I ever accidentally drop it, it will irrevocably be completely broken. The temperature is very accurate. It does indeed take a long time to heat up, so filling with water that is already almost the right temperature is recommended.

Superb product to start with Sous-vide cooking. The slow cooking also works very well. The 5 L content is enough to make a roast of +- 2 Kg Very satisfied with this purchase.
