Delivery and installation of your televisions
How can I prepare for the delivery of my television?
That depends on the services you chose. You can find the exact preparation per service below. For your safety and for that of our delivery drivers, we've also created extra rules for the installation.
Regular free service
- We'll bring your new television up to the front door.
- We'll take your old television with us if it's disinfected and ready at the front door.
Does DHL deliver your television? DHL can't take your television with them yet. Do you live close to our store in Dusseldorf? You can simply leave your old product there. You can also drop off your old product at the waste management.
Installation service
- Make sure you have a working television signal in the place you’re going to put the television.
- Make sure you have all the necessary cables, such as an HDMI cable. Don't have them yet? Make sure to order them.
- Make sure the peripherals, such as a soundbar, don't have to be pulled through the house with cables. The peripherals can only be installed near the television.
Installation and mounting service
- This service is only possible if your wall is made of solid brick or solid concrete. We don't mount televisions on ceilings.
- We only provide this service if you buy a wall mount as well. That way, we can be sure the TV fits on the mount.
- Prepare for delivery in the same way as for the regular service.
Where in Germany do you deliver TVs?
We deliver televisions all over Germany.
We currently deliver large televisions and white goods in the Metropolregion Rhein-Ruhr, Hamm, and Großraum Frankfurt. Do you live outside these regions in Germany? DHL will deliver your television.
Which shipping costs are included for my TV?
You can choose all-day delivery. We'll then arrive between 07:30 and 17:00 on the day you've chosen. This is free.
You can also choose a time slot. You have the following options:
- Morning: delivery between 07:30 and 12:00, from € 39, depending on the chosen day.
- Afternoon: delivery between 12:00 and 17:00, from € 39, depending on the chosen day.
For the televisions that we deliver with DHL, you'll receive a time slot as soon as the delivery driver is on their way to you. Keep an eye on the Track & Trace for the current delivery times.
Will you take my old television with you?
Yes, but only if the television is at least 43 inches or if you added the connection service. Is your old TV a lot bigger than the new one? The delivery driver won't be able to lift the TV on their own, which means they can't take it with them.
If you prepare this, we'll take your old TV with us:
- Disconnect your old television.
- Didn't order an installation service for your new TV? We'll deliver to your front door. We'll only take your old TV with us if you have it ready for us there.
Note: you'll have to give us your old product during delivery. Is it not ready for us or do you want to use it a little longer? We can come back on a different day for € 50.
Will DHL delivery your television? DHL can't take your television with them yet. Do you live close to our store in Dusseldorf? You can simply hand in your old device there. You can also hand in your product at the waste management.
Can you choose a delivery time for your television yourself?
Delivery
Yes, you can choose the delivery time that suits you best. You have the following options:
- Morning: delivery between 07:30 and 12:00
- Afternoon: delivery between 12:00 and 17:00
- The whole day: delivery between 07:30 and 17:00
For televisions that are delivered by DHL, you'll receive a time slot as soon as the delivery driver is on their way to you. Keep an eye on the Track & Trace for the current delivery time.
Installation and mounting
Yes, you can select the day that suits you best to install and/or mount your TV. We'll arrive between 07:30 and 18:00 on your chosen day.
- As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation via email. The email contains a Track & Trace to track your order. Keep an eye on this for the most current delivery information.
- In the night before the delivery, you'll receive a 1-hour time slot via email before 05:00. We do our best to deliver your product within that time slot.
- If our own delivery drivers are on their way, they'll call you 15 minutes before their arrival.
How do you prepare for a television installation or mounting service?
Installation service
- Make sure you have a working television signal in the spot where your television will be placed. This way, we can set up your channels.
- Make sure you have a working WiFi signal in the spot where your television will be placed, so we can connect your TV to the internet.
- Make sure you have all the required cables (such as an HDMI cable) for the installation. Don't have them yet? Order them beforehand.
Mounting service
- This is only possible if your wall is made of solid brick or solid concrete. Not sure which type of wall you have? Go to our advice page. We don't mount TVs on ceilings.
- Prepare for the mounting service in the same way as for the installation service.
How will you keep me updated on the delivery of my television?
As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation via email. The email contains a Track & Trace to track your order. Keep an eye on this for the most current delivery information.
Will Coolblue delivery drivers deliver your television? On the day before the delivery, you'll receive a 4-hour time slot via email around 22:00. At night, you'll receive a more specific time slot of 1 hour. Our delivery drivers will call you 15 minutes before their arrival.
Will DHL deliver your television? You'll receive a time slot for the delivery of your television on the delivery day. Keep an eye on the Track & Trace for the most current delivery information.
