How does the payment for a subscription work?
You first pay one-time startup costs via our website. These costs vary between € 49 and € 149, depending on the product. You then pay a fixed amount every month. After reserving the subscription, you'll receive an email with instructions for a symbolic payment of € 0.10. This step is necessary to save your preference for the monthly payment method. You can choose a credit card (VISA and Mastercard) or PayPal.
Is a white goods subscription a kind of payment in installments?
No, a subscription isn't a way to pay in installments. You pay for the lease to Coolblue and Coolblue is still the owner of the product for as long as the subscription is running. After 12 months, it's possible to buy the product at the current value. Contact our customer service for this.
Why is the first monthly amount higher?
Because you also pay for the days between receiving your product and the start date of the invoice period. We're happy to explain how this works using an example.
How can I change my payment method for the monthly debits?
Contact our customer service for that. You'll then receive a link with a symbolic € 0.10 payment to verify your new payment method.
